CLUB MEMBERSHIP. Shapes Fitness for Women is a boutique fitness club for 'women'.

For purposes of Club Membership, a person’s ‘sex’ is defined as his or her biological sex (either male or female) at birth;

For purposes of Club Membership, ‘woman’ and ‘girl’ refer to human females;

Club Membership is not based on self-reported gender identity.

SHAPES FITNESS SMS ACCOUNT NOTIFICATIONS. This program sends transactional, account‑related text messages to Shapes Fitness for Women members, including membership confirmations, billing or payment notices, class or appointment reminders, and important facility or service alerts.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our number. After you send the SMS message STOP, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

HOURS OF OPERATION. Operating schedules will be subject to change from time to time, according to periodic postings at the Club or on the Club website.

The Club may be closed on Sundays and Holidays.

SIGNING IN. All members upon entering the Club are required to sign in at the main counter.

Members may be required to furnish other suitable identification as requested by Club personnel in order to gain entrance.

GUEST PRIVILEGES. Members are invited to bring or send their friends to the Club.

Each Member, subject to the Club manager´s approval, may bring or send in as many guests as Member so desires. However, the same guest may not come in as a guest more than one (1) time per month or three (3) times in any 12 month period.

All guests must register at the front desk. Club reserves the right to charge a guest fee to Member, which shall be subject to change from time to time.

EXERCISE CLOTHING. Proper fitness attire is required for members. No other type of clothing will be permitted without specific approval from the Club manager.

No swimsuits will be allowed in the exercise area. Swimsuits shall be worn at all times in the sauna and spa area.

UNAVAILABILITY OF CLUB OR SERVICES. There shall be no right of abatement of the running of the specified term of membership for any reason whatsoever. Failure to attend and use the Club will not relieve members of any liability for payments and amounts due.

Should the facilities or all of the services no longer be available at the location at which Member enrolls for any reason including, but not limited to, fire, condemnation, loss of lease, act of God, catastrophe, or for any other reason, the Club will have the right, at its option, to extend the membership for a period of time equal to the time of such unavailability.

RESTRICTIONS AS TO CHILDREN. No children under the age of 12 will be allowed in the exercise and spa areas without direct supervision from a parent, guardian or Club staff member.

COMPLIANCE WITH POLICIES AND CONDUCT OF MEMBER. Member agrees to be subject to the control and guidance of the Club staff while on the premises and will follow instruction of Club personnel. Member agrees to conduct herself in a quiet, well-mannered fashion while on the premises and reserve all criticism of any major kind about other Club members, guests, or Club personnel until in a private office with the Club manager.

Member agrees to obey all rules and conditions of membership contained in the membership agreement or in the future as prescribed by the Club. The Club reserves the right to revoke or terminate the membership if the Member fails to keep and obey any of the rules or conditions.
